About the Artist Commissioning a Portrait Prices Contact Links

Born in 1994, Amber L. Tyldesley is an animal artist based in Warrington, UK. She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015 with first-class honours in English, and has since begun to pursue her passion for the arts professionally.

Since launching her career just under a year ago, Amber’s work has begun to attract considerable attention and success. In her first time entering an international competition, she was shortlisted for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation ‘Wildlife Artist of the Year’ 2016. This resulted in her shortlisted entry “Inseparable” being exhibited alongside many established artists in the prestigious Mall Galleries in London. The painting sold prior to the opening night, raising over £200.00 for wildlife conservation projects. Amber also exhibited at the Association of Animal Artists’ 2016 Annual Exhibition, where she was awarded the Visitors’ Choice prize for her painting “The Snow Queen”.

Amber enjoys completing pet portrait commissions for clients in the UK and internationally. She has experience depicting a broad spectrum of subjects in graphite, pastels and acrylics. She also looks forward to her first solo exhibition which is due to take place at Garstang Arts Centre (Lancashire, UK) during November 2017. More details of this event will follow shortly.
