About the Artist Commissioning a Portrait Prices Contact Links

Born in 1994, Amber Tyldesley is an award-winning animal artist based in Warrington (UK). She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015 with first-class honours in English, and has since begun to pursue her passion for the arts professionally.

Since launching her career in 2015, Amber’s work has attracted considerable attention and success. At her first attempt at an international competition, she was shortlisted for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation ‘Wildlife Artist of the Year’ 2016. This resulted in her shortlisted entry “Inseparable” being exhibited alongside many established artists in the prestigious Mall Galleries in London. The painting sold prior to the opening night, raising over £200.00 for wildlife conservation projects. Amber frequently exhibits with the Association of Animal Artists, and for the past three consecutive years has been the recipient of the Visitor's Choice award for accumulating the highest amount of public votes.

Whether portraying a family pet or exotic wildlife, Amber focuses upon intricate details to convey an authentic essence of her subject. She welcomes pet portrait and wildlife art commissions from clients in the UK and internationally, and is happy to discuss potential concepts with no pressure or obligation.
